30 November 1998--The new site opened on Avonlea.net to commemorate LMM's 124th birthday! A new page was added: Good Works, which tells about the Spectacle's involvement with supporting LMM-related causes. We've also set up an e-mail address for general inquiries; more about that on the Contact Information page.

If you have linked to the Spectacle (and we very much appreciate the link!) you won't have to change the url, even though we're on Avonlea.net now. The main page for the site on Moonrise Hollow.com will remain up and will be a sort of "doorway" to the site on Avonlea.net.

Issue #20 has been delayed slightly because of the fervent work to complete Avonlea.net in time for LMM's birthday. We will post here the day that the issues are mailed.

Keep checking back~~we will be adding many new features throughout the next few weeks!

20 November 1998--Extensive updates were made to this site. The "Sneak Peek" page now contains information about Issue #20, which will be out at the end of November. This issue will be extremely photo-intensive!

November 30th is, of course, the 124th birthday of L.M. Montgomery and The Avonlea Spectacle will be celebrating! The Avonlea Spectacle and Moonrise Hollow Incorporated are sponsoring a *brand new* Avonlea/LMM site, www.avonlea.net, and it will be opening on the 30th! It is sure to delight every fan of LMM and Avonlea! Please stop by on the 30th for all of the festivities!

I had the opportunity to screen Happy Christmas Miss King recently and am so delighted by the return of Avonlea! The Avonlea Spectacle will have a review in issue #20. Be sure to watch it on December 13th at 8pm EST!
