I'm thrilled to open up Avonlea.net today, commemorating L.M. Montgomery's 124th birthday!

There are still many sites on Avonlea.net that are under construction, but there will be something new added every week until all is completed. As it is, I am surprised that this much is already completed, since the idea for it came about just a few weeks ago! I write all of the code for the pages myself, which is incredibly time-consuming, but enjoyable when I see how it all falls together.

This page is named after Chapter 11 of Anne of Avonlea, "Facts and Fancies". It is the diary of the site, which will include the "facts" as to what pages on the site have been updated, and the "fancies", which will be whatever comes to mind!

I hope you will enjoy wandering around the site! There are many, many things to see here that will be of interest to any fan of L.M. Montgomery and Avonlea. Have a wonderful LMM Day!
