Clara and Bert Potts

Bert Potts and his wife Clara are one of the families that we see a lot of in the first few seasons of Avonlea. Bert is a good man, who doesn't cause much harm, but his wife Clara is the worst gossip and nosiest person in Avonlea! Clara loves to dwell on other people's misfortune or embarrassment.
She is one of the few people that make Avonlea look bad!
