Col.Clive Arthur Pettibone

Clive was born on October 2, 1858. He is the father of Arthur,Izzy, and Morgan. Clive first moved to Avonlea in 1907, after living in India with his wife and children. After his wifes death he came to Avonlea and taught at the Avonlea school during Hetty's sabbatical. At first there were some sparks between Hetty and he,but they eventually died down and he met his true love. He and Muriel Stacy were married in December of 1910. Clive is now the super intendent of schools.
