Cecily King - Harmony Cramp and Molly Atkinson
Cecily contracted Tuberculosis in the fifth season and went to a sanitarium in a New York. Unfortunately she played a somewhat minor role in the first 4 seasons of the show. Her character was developed more as the series progressed.Cecily also had a major role in Happy Christmas Miss King. We put her first because we feel that she was the most under estimated character.  Our favorite episodes with Cecily are Home coming and Thursdays Child

Felix King - Zachery Bennett
Played the oldest boy within the King family he was the trouble maker of the group.  He had many adventures with Sarah Stanley.  Our favorite episodes with Felix were Love may be blind....,  True Confessions, and Dark and Stormy Night.  Felix's  character became increasingly different  in the last episodes. In Happy Christmas Miss King he is MIA in World War I but we won't give away the ending to any of you who have yet to see it. We hope to see Felix and Izzy together in a future sequel.

Felicity King Pike- Gema Zamprogna
Felicity is the oldest of the King children.  She married
Gus Pike in the Series Finale.  She went to medical school but chose against pursueing a career in medicine. In Happy Christmas Miss King Felicity became announced her pregnancy and we suspect that she will be opening a home for the deaf and blind in a future series. Our favorite episodes with Felicity are Return to Me, The Return of Gus Pike, Otherwise Engaged, How Kissing Was Discovered and So Dear to My Heart.

Alec King - Cedric Smith
The father of Kings, head of the family and a farmer.
Our favorite episodes with Alec King were, Evelyn, Sarah's Homecoming, and Family Rivalry.  In the last couple seasons he got a bit wimpy.

Janet King - Lally Cadeau
One of our favorite characters, Janet plays the mother of the Kings. In the first season she had a very different pesonality then the motherly and loving personality that developed as the series progressed. Our favorite episodes with Janet King in them were , Aunt Janet Rebels, Our of the Ashes, Evelyn,  Family Rivalry, and the Journey Begins.

Sara Stanley - Sarah Polley
Sara played the main character of RTA.  Sara came from Montreal.  In the sixth season Sara left to go  to a French School to pursue a career in writing.  Our favorite episodes with Sara in them were, Sara's Homecoming, Misfits and Miracles, Comings and Goings, and But when she was bad... 1&2. We hope that Sarah may return for a future sequel!

Andrew King - Joe Blake
Andrew was only seen in the first and second seasons.  He moved to Halifax after leaving the show.  He never played a major role and was not mentioned ever again.  Our favorite "Andrew" episodes were Family Rivalry, and How Kissing was Discovered

Hetty King - Jackie Burroughs
Not our favorite character, Hetty was an opinionated, and over bearing woman. But she was a very important and main character in the series. Our favorite episodes with Hetty were, Momento Mori, A Mothers Love, and Evelyn.  Are least favorite episodes with Hetty in them are Lonely Hearts, and (?) the episode where Simon and Hetty decided to get married.  UUhhh so nasty.  We were dissapointed to see that Sullivan wasted two of the final episodes on that and the one where Aunt Elizas cousin dying.

Olivia King Dale - Mag Ruffman
Olivia in the first two seasons was a shy and quite meager young woman.  When she married Jasper Dale and began working as a jounalist in the 2nd and 3rd season she transformed into a confident and self assured character.
Our favorite episodes with Olivia were May the Best man win,  Nothing Endures but Change, and Sister of the Bride.  We didn't like her voice in Modern Times...
to squeaky!

Eliza Ward - Kay Tremblay
The great aunt  to the KIng children,  Eliza was excentric and somewhat overbearing, but became a very important supporting character in a number of episodes. Our favorite episodes with Aunt Eliza, were How Kissing was Discovered, and Thursdays Child

Daniel King - Older (Ryan Cooley)
Daniel was born at the end of the second season to Alec and Janet King, the youngest King child his character wasn't really explored, until Happy Christmas Miss King.  Our favorite episodes with Daniel were Misfits and Miracles, Thursdays Child, and So Dear to My Heart.

Izzy Pettibone - Heather Brown
Izzy moved to Avonlea in the fourth season after her father Clive became the school teacher.  She is a tomboy, and a good friend of Felix.  In the sixth and seventh season Izzy and Felix become more romanitcally involved but Izzy moves to Halifax at the end of the show and Felix goes to war and becomes a sailor.  Our favorite episodes with Izzy in them were Woman of Importance, Love May Be Blind..., and So Dear to Our Hearts.

Gus Pike - Michael Mahonen
Gus was a young sailor who came to Avonlea to find work, He knew little about his family.  He ran the lighthouse from the Second Season until he left in the 5th/6th Season.  At the end of the sixth season Avonlea was informed that Gus had drowned at sea, but after a strange call to Felicity, He was found blind in South Carolina, he came home and Gus and Felicitiy were married.

Jasper Dale - R.H. Thomas
Jasper nicknamed "The Ackward Man "although never really refered to as that after episode 2) is a excentric, inventor/ scientist.  He married Olivia King and the had a son, Montgomery and adopted a daughter, Alicia.  Our favorite "Jasper" episodes were Home Movie, The Ties the Bind and the episode where Montgomery was born (We have absent mindedly forgotten the title but will get back to you on that one.

Muriel Stacy Pettibone - Marilyn Lightstone
Originally intoduced in Anne of Green Gables, Muriel is Hetty's rival and beloved citizen of Avonlea.  She is subsititue school teacher on a few occasion and brings new life to Avonlea when she moves home and buys the general store.  She marrys Clive Pettibone in the sixth season adding Mother and Wife to her long list of accomplishments and the family moves to Halifax at the end of the final season. We hope to see the Pettibones back in a future sequel.  Our favorite "Miss Stacey episodes are Aunt Hettys Ordeal, Misfits and Miracles, Momento Mori, The More things Change and Woman of Importance.

Clive Pettibone - David Fox
This writer and school teacher in Avonlea moved to Avonlea in the forth season after leaving the military. The widower is father of Izzy, Morgan and Arthur and although he is kind and wise, his temper, narrow mind and traditional military style keep him in many problems.  He marrys Muriel in the 6th season and becomes Superintendent of schools and in the end the entire family moves to Halifax.  Our favorite "Clive" episodes are The more things Change and the dinner.
