The Ties That Bind

Olivia and Jasper want to have a simple wedding, but Hetty takes charge of Olivia's wedding plans. Hetty's meddling threatens to turn the event upside down as she is at odds with everyone. An oversized wedding gown and a missing ring adds to the chaos.

Felix and Blackie

Alec gives Felix the farm's aging workhorse, Blackie, and Felix starts a delivery service with the help of Sara and Cecily. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned, and Felix is faced with angry customers and a risky bet that leads to an accident.

Another Point of View

Criticism of Hetty's teaching style causes her to resign. Alec, who is head of the school board, replaces Hetty with Alistair Dimple, an eccentric individual who inspires the schoolchildren to new educational heights. However, Alec soon discovers Dimple is not who he claims to be.

But When She Was Bad...She Was Horrid (part 1)

When Hetty donates one of Sara's favorite dresses to charity without her permission, Sara contrives to get away from her capricious and domineering aunt. Sara changes places with Jo Pitts, a look-alike pickpocket, and heads to Halifax with Gus Pike. There they fall prey to Abe Pike and a gang of thugs who mistake Sara for Jo.

But When She Was Bad...She Was Horrid (part 2)

Jo Pitts, Sara's look-alike, engages in thievery and mischief, and Hetty believes the girl is deranged. In Halifax, Gus and Sara plan their escape from the treacherous Abe Pike. When they return to P.E.I., they set things right and inform Hetty what has transpired.

Aunt Janet Rebels

Janet is inspired by a suffragette to rally for women's rights, but doing so sends her family, the town and the cannery in an uproar. She leads a protest at the cannery, but ends up in jail.

A Dark and Stormy Night

On a dark and stormy night, Amanda Stone is being pursued by the evil Robert Rutherford. Gus Pike attempts to assist the young woman in evading Rutherford and locate a collection of priceless gems.

Friends and Relations

The King family women begin quarreling and differences among the men lead to difficulties for both groups. When a snowstorm strikes and someone becomes missing both groups put aside their animosity and rally together to deal with the current crisis.

Vows of Silence

A new reverend's sermon is so stirring that the King children visit Peg Bowen who convinces them that Judgement Day is close at hand. The children confess their secrets to one another believing it to be the only way to save the world.

After the Honeymoon

Sidney Carver, editor to the Journal of the Royal Naturalist Society, comes to Avonlea to research bats alongside Jasper Dale. Their enthusiasm and camaraderie causes Olivia to become jealous and the town begins to gossip.

High Society

Felicity learns she is a candidate for the prestigious Kingsport Ladies College. Intimidated by the other candidates worldliness, she lies to impress them. However, when the truth comes out she must make amends.

The Calamitous Courting of Hetty King

Hetty fends off the overly zealous advances of suitor Wally Higgins. Furthermore, she must deal with the litigious inclinations of her neighbor, Wellington Campbell.

Old Friends, Old Wounds

Marilla Cuthbert dies and, because she didn't sign a will, Green Gables goes up for sale. Gilbert Blythe returns to Avonlea to help Rachel Lynde become the permanent resident of Green Gables.
