Hetty King Hetty King
Hetty King is the eldest in the King family, aunt of Sara Stanley. As the head of the family, Hetty King can be domineering sometimes. She often intervenes the businesses of other family members, especially when she thinks the pride of the King famil y is threatened. Despite all her sarcastic and authoritative nature, it is really a cover up of her soft spot in her heart for her loved ones, and may be at times, the insecurities of losing them.
Hetty has never married, and she has treated his sisters, Ruth and Olivia, as if her own children. She was extremely upset when Ruth passed away. She misses Ruth very much. When Ruth's daughter Sara has come to live at Rose Cottage, Hetty feels as if Ruth has come back to her in the form of Sara. Hetty admires the gumption of Sara.
Despite being a self-supporting spinster, Hetty did have one true love in her youth. She used to be affectionately courting with Romney Penhollow, until they misunderstood one another and Hetty wouldn't forgive. Ronmey left the island to pursue his a rtistic aspiration... until he came back on his dying day to say his final farewell to Hetty.

Since Andrew and Sara arrived, Alec has taken them just as if they were his own son and daughter.

Being the oldest among the King's children , Felicity has often taken it as her divine right to be imperious. She did not take it well when her cousins, Andrew and Sara, came to the Island. Especially with Sara Stanley, who would never submit to her demands. However, despite all the feuds between her and Sara, Felicity would take side with Sara, as she would treat any insult to Sara as insult to the King family.
Felicity has eventually learnt her lesson, when the King Farm's right to water access to the pond was threatened. Over months of uneasy co-existence, Felicity has come to accept her cousins, and has since become good friends with them.
During the summer, Felicity has developed a crush on an older cricket player. All the fancy dreams of romance has ended in disappointment. However, when she least expected it, she was given a memory to last a life time -- her first kiss -- when Gus P ike kissed her on the cheek.
