Sara Stanley -- the Story Girl
Miss Sara Stanley (pictured) has been called the Story Girl by the town folks, since her enchanting performance at the Magic Lantern show at the Avonlea Town Hall last Saturday. Miss Stanley has got tremendous assistance from Mr Jasper Dal e who was behind the magic lantern, and Mrs Lawson who provided the delightful background music with the piano. The performance has been a great success. Fund raised from the show will be used for buying more books for the Avonlea Public School Library.
