Four Walls And A Roof Blamed
by her in-laws for the tragic death of her husband, Honey Bailey finds herself penniless
and homeless. She is forced to leave her young boys, Hub and Fat, with their wealthy
and controlling grandmother while her infant daughter is sent to live with distant
relatives.
In the second episode, Hub and Fat try to cope with their new life at the Bailey
mansion, battling their grandmother on every front. In an attempt to escape their
situation, they run away and hide out in a local cottage where they encounter a series of
ill-fated adventures. Finally, their grandmother decides to allow her grandsons to
visit their mother. |

Train To Nowhere Honey
convinces the school teacher, Max, to submit his play to a radio contest. The play
does not win but they decide to stage it anyway with help from the local drama
group. Their plan almost blows up in their faces when the play consumes Aunt Toppy's
life and her marital problems come under scrutiny.
In the following episode, Honey and the boys craft a plan to help Aunt Grace attend a
wedding against May Bailey's wishes. Grace's dream of breaking away from her mother
becomes a reality when her escort, Judd Wainwright, asks her to marry him. May is
aghast but realizes that she must accept the situation. |
