sullivan entertainment recently completed principal photography on a Road to Avonlea reunion movie. The movie entitled Happy Christmas Miss King will air on CBC this December. Here is a sneak preview of what it will be about....

Taking place against the backdrop of World War I, Happy Christmas Miss King pays tribute to the indomitable spirit of Hetty King. This spellbinding return to Avonlea is full surprises....
  • Hetty falls extremely ill and becomes hospitalized.
  • Felix is missing in action on the battlefields of France.
  • Will the idyllic life in Avonlea ever be the same?

These are just some of the rumored twists and turns that are expected. Yet in the spirit of the original series, this movie is ultimately about the strength of family and Christmas spirit, re-uniting the wonderful cast members of Road to Avonlea.
