GEMA ZAMPROGNA as Felicity King Pike

Mrs. Felicity Janet King Pike: (b. July 28, 1891) Felicity Pike is the eldest daughter of Alec and Janet King and was married to a former sailor named Gus Pike in 1912.  She is very much like her aunt, Hetty, in terms of her personality. She is controling of her younger siblings, is given to sharp remarks, and was an excellent student in school. She once pursued a career as a physician, but she gave it up and then got married instead. As a young girl she was considered very beautiful and she still tends to be vain and proud. Etiquitte, first impressions, and personal achievement are very important to her. She is definitely "Daddy's Little Girl" and aimed to please her parents when she was a child through her scholastic achievement. Felicity's talents include an aptitude for all household tasks (cooking, sewing, etc.), intelligence, and the ability to play the piano. These are counterbalanced by her arrogant and occasionally malicious behavior. Felicity is quite slender and always has everything in place. She is very fashionable, as well. Her hair is a color somewhere between a light brown and a golden color. She has large eyes and her appearance could never be described as common.

Gema Zamprogna, like her character Felicity King, is one of those enviable young adults who can turn her hand at almost anything with brilliant results. A talented actress, a scholarship-winning student and an accomplished dancer, Gema is a native of Hamilton, Ontario. She comes from  family of performers. Her parents operate a dance school, and her father Lou is a professional Director/Choreographer.  He is also the director of a performing arts program at Hamilton's professional theatre, Theatre Aquarius. Dominic and Amanda, Gema's twin siblings, are also accomplished stage and screen actors and they look forward to the day when they will get the opportunity to work together on the same project.

Gema's portrayal of the brash, opinionated Felicity King has earned her two Gemini nominations for Best Supporting Actress in 1991 and 1994.

Gema's other film credits include a co-starring role in the four hour mini-series, By Way Of The Stars, the leading role in the TV film The Challengers, as well as principal roles in Defense of a Married Man, America, Friday the 13th, War of The Worlds, and Forever Knight. Her stage credits include The Queen in Winnie the Pooh, Little Marie Antoinette in the opera Andrea Chenier as well as productions of Into the Woods, Chess and West Side Story. After finishing her degree at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Gema hopes to continue a career as an actress.

Gema Zamprogna is not only an actress but a dancer. She has appeared in many productions, which have been seen around the world. She has appeared as a dance soloist with many symphonies, including the Florida Symphonic Pops in Boca Raton, Florida. She had a challenging role playing a young girl, Mackie Daniels, who has to masquerade as a boy, Mac, in order to become a member of the music group, 'The Challengers' (1989). She also portrayed the Baroness Ursula von Knabig in the mini-series 'By Way of the Stars' (1992).
