Avonlea (or Road to Avonlea to our neighbors up north) is a wonderful show, one of my favorites in fact. It is based in the small village of Avonlea on Prince Edward Island. The story is about the King family, but also includes many of their friends as well. This show will make you laugh, cry and even sigh (over all the romantical stories). I only wish Sara had been on the show for the whole series, and that we saw more romance for her. I think the perfect match for her would have been Jonathan Ravenhurst Blackwell, from "The Disappearence"...He was so cool! Another thought was maybe Peter Craig, wouldn't Hetty have a fit!
