This page is dedicated to Road to Avonlea. This series lasted 7 years and was a favorite among Disney viewers & CBC viewers. It was shown in over 100 countries and captured a vast audience. Unfortunately, the last episode aired in 1997 in the Disney Channel.

The show was about a family, the Kings, and the townfolk of Avonlea. Avonlea was set in a fictional town located in Prince Edward Island, Canada, during the early years of the 20th Century (1905-just before WWI). It was an off-shoot of the Anne of Green Gables saga, the most popular movie in Canadian history, and held its own to become the most popular Disney Channel show in its history.
