3. Timeless Classic Anne Of Green Gables The Sequel Now Available On Video
Toronto, November 20, 1996 -- Sullivan Entertainment International,
announced today the fourth Japanese theatrical release of Anne of Green
Gables. This time around the Anne-crazy Japanese will be able to see the
"Director's Cut" of Anne of Green Gables - The Sequel.
Anne's record-setting television ratings in the mid-eighties and the
staggering video sales of the original in 1995 are testament to Anne's
popularity in Canada and the U.S.; yet, nowhere in the world are Anne's fans
as enthusiastic or as numerous as they are in Japan. Sullivan Entertainment
will shortly be adding Japanese text to part of its Web Page
(www.sullivan-ent.com) in an effort to keep up with the Japanese demand for
information on Akage no Anne (the "Girl with Red Hair" in Japanese).
In Canada, Anne of Green Gables - The Sequel has just been released in video
retail stores and mass merchants. Sales are expected to demonstrate
Canadian's continuing love of the red-headed Anne Shirley.
Anne of Green Gables - The Sequel tells the continuing story of Anne Shirley
as she makes the transition from an impetuous orphan to an accomplished
young teacher. Canadian actress Megan Follows returns to her role as Anne.
Tony award winner, Colleen Dewhurst stars opposite her as Marilla Cuthbert
and Oscar winning British actress Dame Wendy Hiller appears as the prickly
dowager Mrs. Harris. This is an emotional conclusion, full of wit, to the
epic tale of the beguiling red head.
The film will be released in theatres across Japan, in March 1997, by
Shochiku Co. Ltd., the country's largest theatre chain.

Toronto, November 26, 1996 -- Sullivan Entertainment, announced today that
it has purchased the land on which its backlot resides. The company has
been filming on the lot for the past
four years.
The lot, which also houses Sullivan's four soundstages, occupies 4.5 acres
of land in the east end of Toronto. Prior to its purchase, Sullivan had
already put its stamp on the land by constructing a vividly-detailed replica
of small-town Ontario. This period set, the largest of its kind for any
Canadian production, includes a railway station, a park, a movie theatre, a
hotel and a bank, and provides the backdrop for Sullivan's
emotionally-compelling new family drama,
