The Windermere House Hotel, located near Bracebridge in Muskoka in Ontario.
This was used as the original White Sands Hotel in Anne of Green Gables.
It actually burned down on February 27th, 1996, but it
was rebuilt and reopened in June 1997. The exterior is identical to the original.
